TOTALLY OBSESSED with…
Every time I pick up a magazine I come across gorgeous pictures of this talented designer’s latest work. Like this chic tablescape:
And these photos of her easy breezy Bahamian retreat:
Like all rad things, it’s made in Brooklyn. If you’re lucky, you can find the last pint on the freezer shelf at Whole Foods. Pucker up, buttercups.
Elegant and timeless in Estée Lauder’s Hamptons bedroom…
Cool and crisp in Alex Hitz’s powder room…
And fresh and fun in a San Francisco show house bedroom designed for two young boys.
I’m sure you’ve all heard his hit track on the radio a time or two. I’ll just post John’s summer concert schedule here for those who might be interested…
SUMMER ENTERTAINING ESSENTIALS:
…Like Bunny Williams’ pretty new line of cocktail napkins for Caspari,
Cheerful patterned tea lights at Terrain,
A boho chic tablecloth from Les Indiennes,
And fun and funky disposable partyware from Sucre Shop for casual outdoor entertaining.
THE CONTAINER STORE:
Yes, I’m sure you’ve heard of it…but lately I’ve been running there for last minute party paraphernalia (favor bags, boxes, ribbons, straws, labels and more). Keep up the good work, Container Store! People are noticing.
Love all of her designs but her dramatic earrings have to be tops on my list. Follow her Instagram account at your own risk.
IRVING & MORISSON:
I just might have to take a trip across the pond to visit the tempting London showroom of designers Carolina Irving and Penny Morrison. Irving & Morisson is their gorgeous collaboration — a bright and bold furnishing and home accessories line.
I am especially drawn to their beautiful patterned lampshades!
I am an unapologetic animal print addict and always have room for a little bit more of it in my life. Around the home…
and at my feet:
Finally, TILTON FENWICK’S NEW FABRIC LINE FOR DURALEE:
Tilton Fenwick is a fabulous design duo…
(Some examples of their work for your reference:)
That recently launched an absolutely lovely fabric line for Duralee.
I had a sweet little vintage chair upholstered in their signature peacock print:
and I used their “Rocat” fabric on the seat cushions for the table I designed for the Red Cross Ball last weekend.
But more on that next time. I think that’s enough obsessing for one day!

You may want to check out this fun trunk show that my friend, Charlotte Barnes, is hosting at her studio next Tuesday and Wednesday for Rebecca De Ravenel. Love the ikat jacket!
